The University of Bielsko-Biała was established as a result of the transformation of the University of Technology and Humanities in Bielsko-Biała (formerly a branch of the Lodz University of Technology), and is currently the largest public university in Podbeskidzie. UBB cooperates with local industry, business and public institutions, and the intimate atmosphere of the campus favors an individual approach to students.
The University of Bielsko-Biała educates over 4,000 people. students in 30 fields of study conducted by 5 faculties, offering them access to modern infrastructure, professional software, as well as certified courses and training. There are numerous scientific clubs operating at UBB, where students develop their passions and carry out projects. Research staff cooperate closely with key enterprises in the region, cultural institutions, health care units and educational institutions, thanks to which UBB’s teaching offer is adapted to the needs of the labor market.
