How to get to the conference?
Information about the conference location can be found at the following link.
The conference take place at the “Wrocławskie Centrum Konferencyjne”, not in the main building of the “Hala Stulecia”.
You can easily reach the venue by public transportation (trams, buses). The nearest stop is “Zoo” (despite its suggestive name, it is not the “Hala stulecia” stop).
Where can I find news related to the conference?
To stay up-to-date with the latest information about the conference, we recommend using the Whova mobile app! Can you download app from App Store and Google Play. Whova is also available via web browser: https://sqlday2024.events.whova.com/.
Whova is a conference app that allows you to:
Check the sessions schedule: Quickly and easily check the conference egenda, read presentation descriptions, and plan which sessions you want to attend (by marking presentations in the app). Additionally, you can see the level of interest from other participants.
Receive notifications: You will receive notifications about upcoming sessions that you have marked.
Updates and information: You will be informed about all important events, such as changes in rooms, reminders about group photos, etc.
Social network: The app allows you to communicate with other event participants, both remote and on-site. You can find participants, create discussions and rooms, ask questions to the speakers after their presentations, and fill out surveys evaluating the presentations.
Gamification and contests: In the app you can find contests, including one for the best conference photo. Additionally, for activity within the app, you will earn points (gamification), which will give you a chance to win a free ticket to the 2025 conference!
Online workshops
Participation in the workshops remotely is possible via the BigMarker app. Check the email inbox you used during registration – you will find an invitation to the workshop there.
Agenda
You can find the current conference agenda in the Whova app and on our website.
Badge Pickup
Badge pickup takes place during registration (before the first lectures and workshops).
If you’re participating in the workshops, pick up your badge on Monday at 8:00 a.m.
Conference Materials Pickup
Conference materials pickup will start from the first break and will be available during subsequent breaks. Last pickup in Wednesday at the lunch break. On Tuesday, wristbands allowing entry to the Tuesday evening party will be distributed (entry will not be possible without a wristband).
If you’re participating in the workshops, you can pick up your conference materials on Monday at 8:00 a.m.

The SQL Day conference takes place on two levels of the “Wrocław Congress Center” (levels 0 and -1), located opposite the “Hala Stulecia” Fountain.
Level 0:
Main Lobby (entrance to the building, in the central part of the building) – ID badges will be issued here.
Auditorium – the venue for the conference opening, keynote session, and one of the workshops.

During breaks between sessions, catering will be available here, as well as coffee and tea stations.

Multifunctional room
On Monday – venue for one of the workshops.
On Tuesday and Wednesday – lunch distribution and the venue for Tuesday’s networking event.
Tent near the multipurpose hall (Tent) – lunch distribution area. Important! On Monday, entrance to the tent will only be possible from the outside, on Tuesday and Wednesday – entrance will be possible from the side of the multipurpose hall (inside the building).
Stairs in front of the main entrance (in front of the fountain) – the location for the group photo.
Level -1: (Stairs S1, S2, S3)
Room A – the venue for sessions and workshops, accessed by stairs in the Foyer near the auditorium (S1).
Room B – the venue for sessions and workshops, accessed by stairs in the main lobby (S2).
Room C – the venue for sessions and workshops, accessed by stairs in the main lobby (S2).
Room D – the venue for sessions and workshops, accessed by stairs in the foyer near the multifunctional room (S3).
Restrooms – located opposite stairs S2.
Group Photo
According to our annual tradition, on Tuesday at 5:50 PM, there will be a group photo of SQL Day participants (after the conclusion of all sessions for the day). You can’t miss it!
Tuesday Evening Party
After the group photo, a joint integration will begin, to which we invite all participants of the conference. There will be a hot meal, desserts, drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), music, a place to dance and many other attractions on site!
Important! Entry will be possible only with wristband (given on Tuesday in Conference Materials Pickup).
