Artificial intelligence is called electricity of the 21st century. One hundred years ago the popularization of electricity changed the ways in which we work, travel and rest – invention of electricity changed our whole world. Today, thanks to artificial intelligence, we are facing a revolution on a similar scale.
The breakthrough was possible due to use of deep machine learning models for such tasks as image and film classification, sound recognition and natural language processing. All of these skills that people come naturally and easily are relatively difficult for computers. Only a combination of three factors: a large amount of available training data, super-fast computers and innovative deep machine learning models allowed computers to see, hear and understand colloquial language.
During the session we will learn the principle of deep machine learning models, starting from linear models, the role of hyperparameters, general neural network, to convolutional neural networks. All this on the example of models recognizing images built on the Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit platform.
